Re: BILIC Tactically
If I'm being harsh Carroll should have been on before the equaliser which was starting to look inevitable early in the second half. But he made the change in time to fix the situation so gets full credit anyway?

Does the tactical improvement coincide with Nikolai Jurcevics arrival as assistant manager ?.. Was sitting close to the dug outs yesterday & he seemed to be instrumental in the Zarate/Carroll switch... Thoughts ?...

Hmmm, I'm not sure what it is I've said about those three that would be provable one way or the other.

As for proclaiming greater knowledge, that isn't true.
I've treated people to my OPINION. I don't apply any pressure on anyone to share it.

Re: BILIC Tactically
The way we reacted after going 1-1 and the 5-10 mins after that, showed a lot.

We retook control of the game, and there was an air of inevitably that we were going to find the winner.

That's the key difference between a BFS team and a Bilic team. Bilic instills belief and confidence whereas BFS would be telling you to respect the point and berate anyone (as long as it wasn't himself) if it went wrong

We do not have enough or adequate variety in our home attacks to maintain a sustained effort for the prize

Alright, scrub the word 'stats' then, all that ultimately matters is who scored the most goals.

To be honest Antly, the way you have been proved so badly wrong with Allardyce, Noble and Nolan, you have some front still being here proclaiming to know more than anyone else every week..

Who said anything about stats? I just go by what my lying eyes tell me.

As for stats, Mark Noble was robbed of another assist by a debatable offside flag.

We can't expect to play every game exactly to plan. The fact of the matter is we beat a rival team for the first time in years and picked up another three points.
Things are on the up we are looking the business there's fuck all to moan about as far as I'm concerned for now, enjoy it .

Re: Billic Tactically
Have a look on the Sky Sports interview. I believe he does say so there. Or are you too lazy to search?

Your input is very predictable in trying to adopt a contrary view. Does anyone think we are champions elect? Of course not but we have beaten four of the top 6 teams. As Bilic says we still have a mentality to protect what we have and this must change. There is still work to be done. We all know that but your morning after churlishness has become as tiresome as Richard Keys.

Have a nice day.

Re: Billic Tactically
Well, he didn't say that they played the opposite to what he had told them.

But they did play the opposite to how they should have done for much of the game.
Completely conceded the midfield for large portions of the game.
It might be Chelsea, but Chelsea ain't going too flash at the moment, and had a long trip into Europe in midweek.

It seems strange to me that I'm going to cop so much flak for opining that we should have been able to be a bit more dominant against a team that is several places below us (for a reason), especially given the OUTRAGE on the Lawro thread in light of his prediction that they would beat us.
